TheWildCard is an IRC network that was started as a small, private space on the Internet. It quickly became a place of refuge for a small handful of hobbyist operating system developers, some of whom were displeased with the well-known #osdev channels of the day. TheWildCard continues to be small and houses a number of regulars, a group of Team Fortress 2 players, a number of Computer Science students and a disbanded team that was planning to add LAN support to a certain major modern RTS game.

What we do

TheWildCard is a network of people who gather to discuss anything and everything. We provide a well-understood architecture based on the venerable Internet Relay Chat protocol, which can be used to gather communities.

Our users

Our users have varied interests, from music (both producing and listening) to video games to theoretical computer science and math.
